Welcome to WADE, The Washington Association of Diabetes Educators

WADE Member to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

The Washington State University College of Pharmacy will honor R.Keith Campbell with a Lifetime Achievement Award October 20, 2017 at the Crimson Gala in Spokane, WA.  In addition, WSU will name the Applied Patient Care lab in the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Building in his honor.  Keith has been an active member of the WADE organization since the beginning of WADE in 1982.  He has been the Keynote speaker at the annual WADE conference several times.  He has supported WADE by writing articles for the newsletter, working on committees, and sharing advice countless times.  One of his unique and very special qualities is that he is just as likely to be talking to a local diabetes support group or helping a friend of a friend who was just diagnosed with diabetes as he is to be sitting on the board of a national organization; all the while showing the same care and determination to help people with diabetes in any way that he can.  Keith was the recipient of the WADE Diabetes Educator of the Year Award in 2016.

WADE will donate $500 to the WSU College of Pharmacy in support of the new R.Keith Campbell Applied Patient Care lab in the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Building.
